Wow...just wow. I really gotta learn how to apply volumetric lighting to my fractals. It just makes it so much better. Especially with the fractal structures in the background with the lights. They look like hangars.
As I said and repeated many times, I mostly use variations of SierpHilbert+_reciprocal(x,y,z). When you see curved lines it's because I added _invtorical or _invcylindrical or _totorical or _tocylindrical
I do, luckily I discovered it early on. But I still have no clue how the maths works. I just fiddle with all the settings, follow the tooltips, and render a higher resolution when it looks good And the people that discovered the Mandelbulb were each making and modifying their own rendering programs o_O
Oh, but that's what I do too I understand what fractals are, but know no more than the shapes I see. What I understand, once I chose a shape, is how to set colors and lights to make is nice to my eyes. And that's the only artistic part in it in my opinion
