One-way ticket to Heechee hotel by Vidom One-way ticket to Heechee hotel by Vidom
Made with Mandelbulb3D and very little post-production.

Inspired by the novel 'Gateway' by Frederik Pohl, which I love.
This is how I imagine the Heechee architecture on Gateway, especially in the claustrophobic area where people lived, waiting for a trip taking them to richness or death :-)

Great  work !!   Must be  Level Babe, Quadrant East, Tunnel Eight, Room Fifty-one.

If my memory serves me well, it  was such  a long time ago. But the memories  won,t   leave.

Heechee architects were specialized in not let us know where the hell we're going! :D

I know I'm already using one of your fractals for my media trailer, but would it be possible for me to use this one too?

The environment has a surreal style to it that suits one of the moments in the trailer.

Thanks. I still wanted to make sure. We had agreed on the other one but I didn't want to just use another as well without letting you know I would be.

Oh I will if and when I'll read it :-)
But you know, I've read Gateway something like 20 or 25 years ago and it always was in my mind. I'm afraid its aging in me made the miracle this time :D
And, I'm happy you love that novel too!

Wonky. I think I would fall down walking down that corridor. It reminds me of those fun houses put the room at a thirty degree angel and tell you to walk through it. That was always fun to do. LOL! Another great piece. :)

Looks like the interior of a really advanced spaceship. I guess it's fitted for reptilian being because that floor looks slippery. :P

Great work mate as usual

I don't know how Heechee looked like, but I remember their chairs were quite uncomfortable for humans :D

Thanks a lot :-)
