Les ecluses de Saiph by Vidom Les ecluses de Saiph by Vidom
Made with Mandelbulb3D.
The whole structure is a single fractal shape, not really symmetric. But while making it I decided to use the lower part as a fake reflection of the upper one.
In post production I just blurred the bottom area, added a green algae patch underwater and some clouds in the sky, to make it less boring :-)

Sorry: DA doesn't allow me to use the correct french word: écluses, with the accent, in the title.

*** EDIT ***
Wow, I just found this got a daily deviation!

Thank you to :iconkpekep: for suggesting it, and to :iconmoonbeam13: for featuring it!
I very much appreciate it

Interesting work, do you have the mesh version? It'd be interesting to see.

No, I can't export any mesh for a structure that complicate. MB3D can't possibly do that precisely enough, and it isn't its job either.
It's not properly a 3D structure editable in 3D software, I wish it was :-)
And thank you :-)

I meant a rendered image of the wireframe itself. Not the actual mesh (Too large and this site doesn't support that, plus it'd feel dirty to just "take" someone's hard work)

What about a playblast/screencap?

Don't take this the wrong way, I'm doing models/sets off to the side and I like to learn from other people's work. Sorry if I'm annoying about it. If you can't/don't want to, I understand.

Oh, this software cannot render the wireframe. Unless I don't know it good enough.
It can be rendered without colors, though, and also in transparency, but not the same thing :-)
