Great work, as always Vidom. Another question if you don't mind? Do some of these structures resemble some buildings in real life, or do you based them off of something else? If so, what? Sorry if I'm asking too many questions lol. Anyways, keep up the good work.
Making fractals (at least as I do it) isn't anything like 'designing'; it's more like 'finding' things. I choose formulas and parameters to have nice structures, then I navigate 3D into them to find nice spots and features. At some point I 'see' the place I like, which matches my fantasy, and that place immediately becomes what my fantasy sees... it can be a landscape, a building, a cityscape, a mountain range, a street, a spaceship, a machinery.... then I concentrate on tweaking the scene to better match the subject I chose it to be, using everything from camera settings, to lights and shadows, fog and haze, etc.
So I just walk around looking everywhere until my fantasy sees something realistic in the abstract shapes, then I try to make it more realistic. This is why I cannot design anything but the starting set of shapes, and the final result is always a surprise to me.
And never be sorry for asking, a question is better than 100 faves and enriches both of us.
