About the insolubleness of orphic geometry by Vidom About the insolubleness of orphic geometry by Vidom
An ancient or alien factory of some sort... in Mandelbulb3D.

I tried to stop searching for details and started to explore ways to create not-so-linear variations in shapes, in the same fractal formula.
I was happy when I could add curves to my usual linear patterns, but I find these weird variations more intriguing and worth some further study.

I also abandoned my favorite yellow-orange-brown hues to enhance the change of style.

Thanks for watching :-)

This is exactly what I'm looking for. Could I possibly use this as part of my Media Studies Coursework?

You can use it where you want, with non-commercial purposes, if you give me credit for making it :-)
Just out of curiosity, may I ask what your Coursework is exactly? :-)

Of course I'll be giving credit.

We have to make a movie trailer, and one of the shots I'm using involved a high-tech looking computer screen, and this has the style I'm looking for.

This is cool! This inspired me so much that I just downloaded Mandelbulb 3D and am playing with it now.

Hmmm I should start thinking at something like that... I would like a mystery to be solved, maybe an exploration of an ancient alien culture which disappeared for some reason :-)

Everything and then some more have already been done about it. From novels to movies to videogames... we need something original!
For example: what about normal people going to bed and waking up in such a place? Not only they will need to careful explore, but also to understand why the hell they arrived there, and why :D

Brilliant work.

Nitpicking: it's insolubility, not that insolubleness

Don't you have insolubleness in your dictionary? I do.

Can't say I do, then again, my dictionary is pretty old ...

Insolubility is used 99.9999% of the time probably :D but I saw the other world used even in official papers from the US patents office. I used the more archaic form to make the title more obscure, and I checked online dictionaries to be sure it was a real word :-)

Yeah, I also checked online after you told me it was in a dictionary, and it is a word. So, I guess should have done that before nitpicking. My bad... :B

No problem at all, you were quite kind in telling it and I actually went back for further research to see if I wrote a non-existent word :D

Did you explore it further in your dream? We could check if what you saw behind the corner does exist in here too :D
You remember only the place or also the story? For example: was it on earth, or in the future? Most importantly: was it a good dream or a nightmare? :-)

It was a long time ago and a short dream but as soon as I saw your picture it resurfaced so to speak. I believe it was on a huge space ship. In the future I believe. And I remember I was lost in it, going in circles and I was frustrated. I remember to the left it behind the corner it ended shortly after. And for the right side I remember a very similar looking chamber.
